The Water Council is a group of volunteer Apache Shores property owners, formed at the request of the ASPOA to delve into Travis County Water Control & Improvement District No. 17’s Capital Improvements Plan for upgrading Apache Shores’ waterline infrastructure. The mission of the group is to act as a liaison between WCID17, the ASPOA, and the property owners - researching the various elements of the plan (construction costs, timelines, funding options, bonding, cost implications for property owners, etc.) - and then disseminating the information to AS property owners. The group also organizes periodic Town Hall meetings with WCID17 management and staff.
